The Sacred Turning Point Between Eclipses – Dec 4, 2020
We are currently in a slow-moving Sacred Turning Point, between Eclipses, following the Lunar Eclipse on Nov 30 and the upcoming Solar Eclipse on Dec 14. This wormhole (a short distance between two realities), is a space where time and the 3D world dissolves into an energetic kaleidoscope that unfolds in subtle, nonlinear ways. I wouldn’t make major commitments from this space, as life can turn on a dime, but you may experience insights, new info or events that ultimately inform your next steps.
To add to the mix, dreamy Neptune squares the Nodes of Fate and Destiny through mid-Feb, unwinding old structures, creating uncertainty, doubt and a general lack of clarity re: where you are and what to do or expect. The function of Neptune is to call your attention inward, to connect with your Inner Self, via spiritual practice, creative expression, imagination, dreams, slowing down, being in nature, with babies, animals or whatever soothes your soul – using your intuition as your guide. Poetry, art, music, photography and movies are Neptunian paths for transcending the 3D world. Find your bliss, even in the midst of the fog. This is your assignment.
The South Node (past) is in Sagittarius, asking you to review your beliefs to see which are still relevant (serving you), with an invitation to open to other viewpoints (North Node in Gemini = Destiny) for your consideration, growth and education. A curious mind (Gemini) is the highest expression of the mental body, which keeps you young, because you’re open. A know-it-all (South Node in Sagittarius), or mind made up, is closed to new information. Fixed. The door is closed and locked, so don’t become too attached to what you know for sure (other than love :)) – stay open.
Neptune squaring the Nodes dissolves the certainty that keeps us fixed collectively, which, I hope, will open us to move toward reconnection – even if it’s slow. Neptune represents Oneness, or All That Is – the higher dimension where there are no boundaries.
“No tree has branches so foolish as to fight among themselves.” ~ Ojibwe (Native American) proverb
Venus trines Neptune on Dec 5 in the passionate energy of love and a strong desire to merge with another and/or the Divine. Venus is earthly love and Neptune is Divine Love, perfect for romance, creative or spiritual pursuits, compassionate care and reverence. Enjoy the gift of this day.
The Sun squares Neptune on Dec 9, which can bring confusion, overwhelm, low energy and dreamy feelings that aren’t helpful for productivity. Great for daydreaming or contemplation, though. If you experience disillusionment, disappointment, despair, or a glass half-empty feeling, know that this is the lower expression of the Sun-Neptune square and don’t buy into those thoughts. It’s a bad dream and you can go down the rabbit hole if you stay there. Call someone, find support, read inspirational writing or listen to a teacher/teaching that reminds you of the Higher Truth and brings you back to your power.
On Dec 10, Venus sextiles Pluto, which seeks deep, passionate connections and intimacy. Magnetic attractions can occur and you can have a breakthrough via love, $$, relationships – even creativity. Pluto goes beneath the surface to find what’s hidden and real, so use this day for conversations around boundaries, $$ and relationships if decisions or agreements need to be made.
Also on Dec 10, the Sun is conjunct the South Node (past) in Sagittarius, bringing out the lower qualities of the sign. Mercury (communication) is in Sagittarius and it often speaks before thinking – and can be blunt, so watch for self-righteousness, superiority, judgmental attitudes and tunnel vision.
You will grow when you recognize your shortcomings and make adjustments to realign with your conscious intentions. Even if you think you’re right, see if you can soften your broadcast so as to create space for those with a different perspective. (Remember the Neptunian, “All Are One” concept).
Of course, the general Eclipse info still applies:
Emotions run high around eclipses – expect the unexpected as well as fated events, and be flexible.
Eclipses can either clear huge obstacles or manifest potential challenges and things usually happen quickly.
If you’re confronted with an unexpected situation or event, take a moment to assess where you are and let the dust settle, if possible.
There’s a saying, “Don’t just do something, sit there!” Use that guidance when anxiety triggers you to act prematurely or reactively, which will not serve your highest good.
Please don’t judge events that happen around an Eclipse as “good” or “bad,” because you don’t know what the big picture is and more will be revealed…
This week is a quieter, softer time of undoing and reconfiguring behind the energetic scenes, as our world is being shapeshifted with major activity on the way in the second half of December. In the meantime, take good care and go within for the peace and comfort that is elusive in the 3D world of duality.
“May you awaken to the mystery of being here and the quiet immensity of your own presence. May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path. May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention. May you experience each day as a sacred gift, woven around the heart of wonder.” ~ John O’Donohue
As always, I am grateful for your presence on our journey together.
