Sun in Virgo – Aug ’13

Setting Sun

The Sun is in Virgo, practical sign of health, wellness and service – and Mercury joins the Sun in Virgo from now until Sept 9th. Boy is this good energy for organizing, analyzing situations/projects and getting things done! Use it well :))

And you know, Virgo likes to do things the “right” way – in order, with every detail just so, conscientious to a fault. So it’s kind of inconvenient when Neptune, nebulous planet of intuition and dreams, opposes Mercury on Sunday night and the Sun on Monday night.

Neptune opposing Mercury and the Sun allows for creative expression, visioning and highlights the Higher Self perspective, but the lower expressions are confusion, delusion and pipe dreams that sound good in the moment, but may be better as ideas than in reality.

Learning to discern between your intuition (Higher Self) and fantasy is a high level skill – and discernment is a Virgo skill: what’s useful and what’s not? (Sometimes you just have to try things to see what is going to work. I know I have :))

Fantasies are beautiful and they serve a purpose, but your intuition is literally your guidance system for life. It’s important to be able to determine the difference – and to know what your intuition is telling you. If you don’t know, tune into how you feel – for a “yes” you will be expanded and for a “no” you will usually feel contracted. Find your own signals for reliable guidance.

Mars (action/will) goes into Leo on Tuesday night and the warrior planet loves to roar and make it’s presence known in this sign. If you feel some serious “get up and go” after Tuesday, you’ll know why! Use it to make something happen that you want in your life!

As usual, we have long stretches of Moon Void of Course periods this week. Pay attention so you don’t schedule important meetings, dates, tasks or launches during Moon Void of Course times. Here’s a link to get the Perfect Timing Guide if you need it.

Don’t take any actions that require a specific outcome when the Moon is Void of Course. The Void Moon is good for leisure, spiritual connection, routine and creative activities, but not for targeted results.

Knowing the Void Moon times and acting accordingly goes to your responsibility for creating what you want in life.
