Spring Equinox/ Lunar Eclipse – March ’16
We say good-bye to Pisces and close the Astrological year late Sat, early Sun morning as the Sun enters the fiery, hot to trot sign of Aries. This is the Astrological New Year.
This is the time for resolutions if you want to align with the energy of the cosmos, so set your intentions and plant your dreams for what you want to create in this new year! And then create actions that will activate your resolution. This is the formula for success, along with flexibility, rather than just wishing/hoping :))
On Mon, March 21st, Mercury (the mind) moves from gentle Pisces to focused Aries, making communications much more direct, which can feel confrontational, so be mindful of what you’re saying and how you’re saying it when making connections.
However, this energy can drive asking for what you want, making sales and reaching out. Utilize Aries courage and enthusiasm to support your efforts.
Jupiter and Saturn are lining up to square each other with conflicting agendas (stretching vs. security) all week. Keep things simple for best results, and don’t take crazy risks, or you may be regret your actions later.
This is a week filled with potentially dramatic energies and with the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra on Wed night (March 23rd), dramatic endings are likely to occur, either for you personally or those that affect the collective.
Because the Lunar Eclipse is in Libra, it will likely affect the way you relate to others – and you may experience some kind of ending, either in a relationship or maybe a behavior, attitude, or dynamic that is not working.
Even if you don’t personally experience an ending, if someone connected to you does it will affect you too. Remember, we’re all in this together – and it even seems that more and more frequently we are experiencing the loss of public figures who are dearly beloved. All these things affect your consciousness, whether you think about it deliberately or not.
Jupiter squares Saturn all week, and is included in the Lunar Eclipse. Jupiter is expansion and Saturn is reality, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself face to face with ways in which you’re overextended. This will alert you to any course corrections that you need to make (call it a reality check:)).
Saturn is slowing down to turn Retrograde next Friday, so be prepared for a slowdown with work or projects that you’re trying to move forward with. Pushing is not the solution. Responsible actions that are aligned with your intention will be most effective, but you will likely be on an Eclipse “ride” that nobody can really predict.
But Lunar Eclipses are about endings, so if something is leaving your life, let it go. Your life is being rearranged. Do what you can to stabilize and don’t go into reaction. Higher Self vision and possibilities will create the best possible outcome.
Commit to being spontaneous and living in the present moment as you hold the vision of your Highest Good – and for all others as well.
We have major Moon Void of Course periods this week, which can derail intended outcomes and productivity – and are optimal times to access your creativity, spiritual pursuits, routines or leisure activities. Be aware and pay attention.
