Solar Eclipse in Virgo / Mercury Retrograde – Sept 2015
We begin the week on 9/11 – 14 years after the tragic event in NYC (I was there and saw it happen). It is always a reminder of how life can change in an instant, never to be the same again.
That’s the feeling that an Eclipse can bring (although not necessarily destructive). This gorgeous Lars Leber photo captures the feeling of the Solar Eclipse that we will experience Sat night/early Sunday morning here in the U.S.
Remember, a Solar Eclipse is a major New Beginning that can either manifest now or be the beginning of a story that unfolds over the next 5-6 months. Don’t judge events that happen around Eclipses as being good or bad because you don’t know the big picture yet and more will be revealed…
Easy does it over the weekend (people – and you – may be more reactive than usual) and put your attention on what you want to create or call into your life.
What actions can you take after the New Moon Solar Eclipse towards the creation you desire? That’s a productive use of your attention and efforts.
If there’s something happening that’s causing you pain or discomfort, take responsibility for handling it. Either do what you can to change the situation or do whatever you need to do to handle your thoughts about it (the source of pain).
If you can reframe a challenging situation to something more empowering, you can turn it around to release pain and create inspiration. It’s amazing how that can work…
Venus is now Direct, so you are dealing with the ramifications of decisions you made while it was Retrograde regarding romance, relationships, $$, your values and how you value yourself. What has changed? How are you and your life different since July 25th?
Saturn is at 29º of Scorpio, about to leave the sign for good on Thurs, Sept 17 for 29 years. Scorpio rules everything hidden, so watch what comes to the surface this week to be seen, finally.
Thursday is going to be a doozy of a day: Saturn goes into Sagittarius (Higher Truth, expansion); optimistic Jupiter opposes dreamy Neptune (which can affect your judgment and lure you into fantasyland); while Mercury turns Retrograde until October 9th.
Back up your computers, get your vehicle checked for any maintenance needed, sign contracts and be sure to take an action after the Eclipse to begin anything new (Sunday/Monday if possible!).
We’re going for a ride, so don’t try to hold on to your old ways of operating if there are signs of change in your space. Get with the program and be open to moving forward or operating in new ways.
