Jupiter-Pluto Opposition – Aug 9, ’13
We’re still in the energy of the Jupiter-Pluto opposition, which can transform your beliefs into a higher expression or it can attract dogmatic tyrants who want to boss you around. Higher expression – lower expression, and there are many scenarios in which this can play out.
If you are experiencing issues around power (either manipulating /controlling others or being manipulated/bullied) you are in a lower expression of the energy. Pluto offers you the opportunity to step into your power or it will bring in someone/something to illustrate where you’ve given up your power.
True power is the ability to create what you want at will. You don’t have to “do” things to others to make things happen (control and manipulation are negative expressions of Pluto).
Jupiter is your judgment, wisdom (Higher Truth) and beliefs – also expansion and optimism. Jupiter can inspire you to evolve your beliefs to a more expansive perspective or it can lock you into rigid dogma. It can give you the confidence to stretch beyond where you’re stuck – or it can prompt you to leap before you look. Again, higher expression – lower expression…
Discernment is required where Jupiter is involved when making decisions. The guide for your decisions? Your Higher Self – always!
The decisions you face with Jupiter and Pluto will be transforming and expansive, but facts alone can’t guide you. Facts may inform your decision, but your intuition, or Higher Self, is your guide.
Jupiter is here to expand your life, to move you forward in a big way. It can’t do it’s work when you are enslaved by your mind, looking for evidence so you can feel safe every step of the way. Trust that still small voice within – that feeling that pulls you in a particular direction (even when it doesn’t make sense). It will never steer you wrong.
On Sun Aug 11th, Saturn squares Mercury and you may find yourself in a conflict around a communication or having to explain/defend your story. The opportunity here is clarification. Don’t get emotional or take anything personally.
If you are triggered on Sunday (or any time), pick up The Four Agreements and reread it. This teaching will serve you well.
1. Be impeccable with your word – be in integrity, don’t speak against yourself or others, use the power of your words to go toward truth and love
2. Don’t take anything personally – others are projecting on to you (you only react where you already have a wound)
3. Don’t make assumptions – ask questions, communicate clearly, be “Spock”
4. Do your best – avoid self-judgment, regret, sabotage
On Wed Aug 14th, we have a Uranus-Mercury connection which activates creativity, innovation, the Higher Mind and bright ideas! I love this out-of-the-box energy that is the perfect antidote to the “grounded in facts” logic of Saturn.
Both energies are necessary for manifesting creativity, they just serve different purposes. Uranus-Mercury is the energy that activates your brilliance, facilitating new creations that you could never have predicted, which is totally invigorating!
