Further Awakening – April 7, 2023
This is a week of positive motion with all planets Direct, approaching a radical turning point and moving through the wormhole (a portal between two vastly different realities) that leads to the Solar Eclipse on April 20, followed by Mercury Retrograde on April 21. This is guaranteed to disrupt the status quo and shift the cultural landscape in some way, but because that’s our new normal, all I can say is stay tuned…
As of today, we are in the shadow of Mercury Retrograde (territory you will retrace), so you will have the opportunity to review and revise current decisions, projects and actions through June 1, when Mercury clears its Retrograde path. Enjoy the harmonious flow available now and make the most of what inspires you in the coming week.
April 7 – Venus sextile Neptune, brings a soft, gentle flow that invites you to relax, commune with nature, go within, do a spiritual practice or connect with loved ones. This is also beautiful nonlinear energy for creative expression and art appreciation. Neptune calls you within to connect with your spirit, so take the opportunity to vision, dream, choose comfort (Venus in Taurus loves that) and create space to move beyond your To Do list if you can. Compassion and reverence for All is in the air for those who care.
April 8 – Mercury sextiles Mars, giving you a boost to make decisions with clarity, speak your mind, gathering info or putting energy into chosen projects. When your mind and actions are in sync, you can accomplish much effectively, with clarity and ease, while producing desired outcomes. Use it well!
April 11 – Venus enters social Gemini and encounters a harmonious trine with Pluto, and now connections are deeper. Gemini likes to keep things lite, but Pluto is passionate, so serious love connections, attractions and conversations may occur, a powerful creative experience (writing, theater) may be on the menu or you may meet someone who you align with in a profound way (the best!). In any event, this indicates a desire or connection that has a memorable impact on you.
Also, the Sun conjoins abundant Jupiter (called Cazimi, in the heart of the Sun), making this an expansive, lucky day! You may feel like all things are possible, as opportunities and gifts come your way, but pay attention to what shows up in your orbit today that captures your fancy. This Sun-Jupiter annual meeting is a clue about where the new Jupiter cycle may lead you – to new beliefs, ideals, adventures, learning, focus and travels. Jupiter will expand your world if you let it. Make good use of the abundance you magnetize into your world by being open and willing to explore.
Enjoy this week of blessings and great potential. The Sun in Aries is full of energetic fire and with Venus moving into Gemini, it is fertile ground for meetings, connections, communications and ideas that can expand your horizons! Remember, it’s time for a new path, a new way, a new life. Don’t wait to be pushed, be proactive and freshen up whatever is tired, over or complete in your world and open to the new!
