Creating New Moon Intentions

New Moon Intentions are a concrete way of stating what you want in your life. Because Spirit is within you and flows through you, this is the place from which you create.

Creativity is a “Divine download” and creative expression is your unique expression of channeling Spirit. You have the power to manifest your desires and you call in what you focus on, so choose your thoughts wisely!

Some intentions take time to manifest and others will show up quickly. Enjoy!

Creating Intentions

• Create your list on the day of the New Moon if possible

• Review your previous list and delete anything received

• Eliminate items that are no longer relevant

• Place your list on your altar or in a private place

• Review your list each morning or evening to keep your intentions conscious

How To Create Intentions

• List no more than ten intentions, so you don’t dilute the energy

• Start each intention with the words “I” or “I create”

• Make intentions present tense (not “I will” as in the future)

• Only write what you intend to create (you can’t create for someone else)

New Moon Abundance Check

• On the day of the New Moon write a check to yourself

• Write your name in the section labeled “Pay to order of”

• Write “Paid in Full” in the $$ section

• Write “What I allow myself to receive” in the word amount section

• Sign the check with the words “Spiritual Law”

Place the check on your altar or put it in a special place and prepare to receive!

You can always choose to operate from the higher expressions of the energy, no matter what difficulties present themselves.

You have more power than you may realize – and when you step into your power, you can transform challenges into solutions.

When you find yourself feeling victimized or put upon, think to yourself, “How would an empowered person respond?” or “How would I behave if this didn’t bother me?”

Act as if you are healthy, balanced and living from a place of well being. This is living consciously – where you choose your attitude – and it can raise your vibration and ultimately your circumstances!

If you find yourself in your head, thinking about what someone just said, did or didn’t do, you’re going into a bad neighborhood…. don’t go there!

If you’re involved in drama, take a step back and get quiet so you can go within and find your center. Solutions are created from peace and a feeling of connection, not chaos or confrontation.

Be mindful not to give your power away or allow others to make decisions for you. It can be a delicate balance learning to trust and expand, while maintaining your authority and come from your center, but that’s the goal and you can do it!

Jupiter (expansion) is squaring Pluto (power, control), which gives you the ability to move through obstacles that have stopped you in the past – if you harness this energy correctly. You have access to an extra burst of determination, power and energy with this energy, but you must operate in integrity or else you’re asking for trouble!

As I said last week, you are being called to stay conscious and operate from your Higher Self. Speak your truth, ask when you don’t understand and don’t say “yes” when you feel a “no.” Get clear before you take action.

New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Capricorn

The New Moon / Solar Eclipse on Tues, Jan 4th, in Capricorn is a fabulous time to launch a new project or take action toward creating your dream for 2011.

Capitalizing on this Solar Eclipse will be of great benefit to you, so be ready to start something important!   (To learn more about The Eclipse Period click here).

The available momentum in January with all the planets in Direct motion is so rare that it will be a crime to squander it! I know that sounds dramatic, but this is BIG, so think about what you want to create that you can begin now.

We will be coming out the other side of the wormhole (or tunnel) on Jan 4th that propels you from one reality into another that transcends linear thinking.

Your reality may be shifting in curious or nebulous ways and if so, relax into it, watch the “show” and go within to center yourself if you feel out of balance.

Get out of your head and drop into your heart to reconnect with the truth of who you are. Breathe in love, breath our fear, stress, anxiety, doubt or negativity – whatever ails you.

Before making decisions: balance first (no matter how long it takes), then decide.

Venus  connects with Jupiter/Uranus in Pisces generating Divine Love, compassion, the Christ consciousness (All Are One), as well as expansion, innovation, magical creations and outcomes. This energy is available to you around this Solar Eclipse – how beautiful is that?!

Lunar Eclipse on Tues, Dec 21 ’10 @ 29 Gemini
Solar Eclipse on Tues, Jan 4, ’11 @ 13 Capricorn

We enter into a wormhole as we approach the first eclipse until after the completion of the final eclipse.

Think of being transported into another reality, during which shapeshifting and dramatic shifts can occur.

The guidance is to go with the changes, rather than to resist.

Emotions run high around eclipses and you can expect the unexpected as well as fated events, so be prepared to be flexible.

Eclipses can either clear huge obstacles or manifest potential challenges and things usually happen quickly.

If you’re confronted with an unexpected situation or event, take a moment to assess where you are and let the dust settle, if possible.

There’s a saying, “Don’t just do something, sit there!” Use that guidance when anxiety triggers you to act prematurely or reactively, which doesn’t serve your highest good.

Please don’t judge events that happen around an Eclipse as “good” or “bad” because you don’t know what the big picture is and know that more will be revealed.

Here is general info about Eclipses so that you’ll recognize the ways they can manifest and how you can work with the energy.

* The energy lasts for about six weeks - you feel it two weeks before the 1st Eclipse (in this case, Lunar) and two weeks between the Eclipses, and then two weeks after the last Eclipse (in this case Solar)

* In your chart, you’ll feel the anxiety and experience the Eclipse effects most intensely in the houses that are ruled by Gemini/Cancer and Sagittarius/Capricorn (for this Lunar Eclipse)

* Eclipses have a “Uranian” quality – expect sudden changes, unpredictable events, moments of fate and fated events

* An Eclipse is like – POW! – a jolt, it makes things happen

* Eclipses indicate “unnatural acts” (check the news) – and you may feel unnatural around an Eclipse

* Things may seem out of proportion during an Eclipse

My guidance during this time is to slow down, breathe consciously and be extra mindful, stay as flexible as possible, and for you overachievers – take twice as much time to do half as many things!

Neptune (dreams, intuition, Spirit) and Chiron (the wounded healer) are moving forward together, allowing for the expression of your evolved, integrated energies to be offered via your service, which we so need!

Your gifts are not just for your benefit – they were given to you to be used for the greater good, so don’t withhold, don’t be shy – please share them with the world!

If you are “in process,” preparing to offer your gifts or creating new ways of offering them, then you’re been challenged to evolve your Being, beliefs and behaviors. This is high-level work!

As you offer your work to the world, there are opportunities for you not only to contribute, but to model the expansiveness of dreams come true! (Yes, yes!)

The week kicks off with the Sun in harmony with Jupiter (good fortune, beliefs) and Uranus (change, innovation), which creates extraordinary opportunities for sudden changes and manifestation! Kind of like playing Lotto… and winning!

Remember that Venus and Jupiter are STILL RETROGRADE, so get a second opinion if you’re tempted to make a big investment no matter how correct you think your judgment is!

Or better yet, wait until Friday, Nov 19th to take action. I suggest you wait so that you’ll have the proper perspective when making major decisions. And yes, then you can make the high-dollar purchases or long-term commitments!

Enjoy this expansive, idealistic energy of love and abundance. This is the place from which you can create magical outcomes and instant manifestation if your beliefs and actions are in alignment with your vision.

This means opportunities for transformation are available IF you’re willing to take full response-ability for everything that you create in your life.

The opportunity is to make course corrections where you are out of alignment. Pain, contraction or discomfort will let you know exactly where that is.

If it’s happening to you or if it’s in your life, you created it - either consciously or unconsciously. If you feel confused or stuck, the issue is likely unconscious, so please get help to work through your blind spots.

Venus (what you value and how you value yourself) is a major factor in what you believe about yourself as well as what you’ll allow yourself to have/be/do.

Because Venus is Retrograde in Scorpio, this is the optimal time to examine the Venus issues in your life.

I am currently enrolled in business coaching programs and the learning curve has been steep for me. While doing my best to keep up, I have sometimes descended into worry, stress, confusion or self-judgment, which took me out of my power.

This mentor gave me a directive in no uncertain terms – she said that when I find myself in self-doubt, self-judgment, worry or negativity to say:

“Stop! I’m letting go. I’m letting go of everything and everyone

that does not serve my highest good. I am empowered.”

Venus is Retrograde in Scorpio, sign of transformation, which always begins with letting go so it’s the perfect time to tap into this energy!

It’s so powerful to catch yourself in the moment and decide to turn off negative energy – it’s an “undo/redo” script. Try it, it works!

The ultimate in empowerment is to discern whether any person, place or thing is serving your highest good by feeling into your energy when you’re in their presence.

Your highest good will leave you overflowing with a sense of fullness and peace, not feeling bad about yourself.

If you are contracted, something is wrong and I urge you to check-in: are you in your head or your heart?

If you’re in distress, your head is usually the source of trouble (ego), telling you something that’s causing you pain. When you’re in your heart (Spirit), you will be guided on a different path altogether.

During Venus Retrograde, as you go back over what you value and how you value yourself, please, please give yourself some extra TLC.

Commit to letting go of everyone and everything that doesn’t serve your highest good.

That is the ultimate act of self-love.

New information may come to light when Mercury goes Direct that will change your thoughts/feelings about a particular situation, so stay open and pay attention.

With the New Moon in Taurus on Thursday night ET, Friday May 14th is a good day to take action and be in the New Moon energy, so wait until then if possible for important actions.

We’ve been in Mercury Retrograde since April 18th, which indicates that in order to be most effective you were invited to clean up the past and get your life in order.  I hope that you have made or are making course corrections that will allow you to move forward with an upgraded perspective, info and structures. This is the invitation.

What have you learned – or what has been rearranged since mid-April when Mercury went Retrograde? The issues you’ve been going back over began around Easter, on April 4th, so think back to what was happening then.

The shifts you are experiencing are deeply internal and they should bring you into greater alignment with your Higher Self. How do you feel about yourself, your life, your direction? If you’re not clear that’s okay – you’re likely “in process,” but feeling the movement let’s you know that things are happening. Be patient and practice exquisite self-care during this time.

Do your due diligence – not only during Mercury Retrograde, but always. You cannot be in your power if you are careless (this speaks to responsibility – and what a simple, inexpensive way to receive support!).

The New Moon is the time for new beginnings  so take an action  directed toward what you want to increase, create or develop in your life.

Sagittarius is the “truthteller” and rules higher truth, the meaning of life, spirituality, law, religion, belief systems, philosophy, higher education, ideals, ethics, publishing, broadcasting, long journeys, foreign travel, other cultures, social causes, politics, adventure and expansion. Sagittarius is happy fighting for a cause, i.e., the Spiritual Warrior who is involved in raising consciousness and operating on a higher level or doing good for the collective.   

Sagittarius sees the big picture and is enthusiastic, optimistic, and inspired, which can provide you with the confidence to move forward in areas of life where you may have been reluctant to go before. On the other hand, Sagittarius can be impulsive and is often a “leap before you look” sign – so please check that whatever you are leaping into is solid.  Sagittarius rules beliefs. 

Do your beliefs support you or are they inhibiting your growth and holding you hostage?  

I urge you to examine what you THINK is possible for you, because whatever you believe is what you will be able to achieve. If you are limited by your beliefs, now is the time to seek help to clear limiting beliefs – and I assure you it can easily be done!    

* Focus on a vision for your life. Which area of your life would you like to see expand?   

* Where do you feel limited or restricted? Here’s the bigger question: Who is restricting you?  

* Feeling inspired creates a meaningful life. What inspires you?   

* What truth do you need to look at or speak up about?    

* Sagittarius rules ethics - is your lifestyle in alignment with that which you say you care about?   What do you stand for?  

* What move have you been contemplating but have been too afraid to make that speaks to a deep calling from  within? 

This is an auspicious and optimal time to take an action. You are missing a huge opportunity if you allow  the ego’s fear to overrule your Higher Self’s call.  

The energies of the Universe support your efforts to stand in your truth and will give you the impetus you need to move forward.  This New Moon provides a ”big picture” energy of expansion, so please utilize it to become who you came here to be. It’s the perfect time to connect with your highest ideals and to activate your dreams for 2010!
