Guess what happens when you decide to “break the family myth” and take a leap forward in your life? Everything that’s out of alignment pops up to tell you “NO!” – or even more insidious, a little voice in your head whispers all the good reasons why you shouldn’t ________ (fill in the blank).

This little voice pretends to be your Higher Self (here to keep you safe), but in reality it’s your shadow, here to keep you small, stuck, stagnant or limited so that you maintain the family myth.

What is the family myth? It’s the story you grew up with about who you are that was mirrored back to you over and over. Maybe it was said out loud or maybe it was a non-verbal message you picked up about yourself.

You may have released some of the family myth or much of it – or maybe you still believe that you are who they said you were. Maybe you still believe certain things about yourself that limit you. Are you trapped in some old family role, belief or behavior that isn’t really your highest truth?

There is SO much more to you than the limited family story of who you are.

Here’s the deal: when you try to break the family myth, there is a powerful unconscious drive to pull you back and that’s the way your unconscious keeps you connected to your family – and you don’t know that’s what’s happening!

But like a chick ready to hatch – when you outgrow your shell, the need to expand will outweigh the desire to cling to security and you’ll be ready to move forward.

I am here to guide you through that process (wherever you are) in the gentlest way. This is an encouragement zone with good, orderly direction.

This will be a nonlinear experience – so warm and smooth that the teachings will wash over you and sink in with profound results, so the loving voice becomes part of your consciousness. I’m preparing to fly home to NYC today after meeting with my coach and  Platinum Mastermind group for the last few days.

It feels very energizing and centering to have a plan for 2012 – one that was created for my expanded, BIG Self, rather than my limited, doubtful self.

That’s the beauty of having a coach or mentor, i.e., one who holds a space of truth and vision for you that’s greater than what you see for yourself in the moment. Then you get practical guidance to implement the plan.

So this is a good time to check in with yourself. Are you making decisions from your Higher Self or are you making “low self-esteem/Wounded Self” decisions?

Those low self-esteem/wounded self decisions will keep you small until you’re ready to take a leap and move to the next level – if ever.

Seriously, are you short-changing yourself because you fear you’re not worthy or that no one will want you or what you offer? If so, you need new input – and a new mirror!

I so recommend that you get support for whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish and it all begins with shifting your beliefs about yourself and your value.

If you follow me, you know how I feel about that. Here’s my belief:
You are the essence of pure goodness. Your goodness has nothing to do with your actions or the actions of anyone else.

Yes, it’s true.

And if you don’t know that deep inside, I would love to help you shift that.

If you allow others to treat you as less than wonderful, I would really love to help you shift that.

If you treat yourself as less than the precious gift that you are,  I highly recommend that you work with me asap!

We are between two Eclipses with Mercury in Retrograde. How are you experiencing this energy?

I’ve been hearing lots of Mercury Retrograde “Plus” stories. I call them “Plus” due to the Eclipses, which adds a  dramatic element to the mix.

If the unexpected triggers you, let me remind you that you have a choice in the experience you ultimately have.

If you’re in reaction, you probably feel out of control in some way. It’s often not even the info or event that really triggers you – it’s the fact that whatever’s happening was not your decision. Somewhere inside there’s a “No!” in response to the experience.

To bring yourself back to center, stop, take a breath and go within.

I offer you this new mantra: “I allow for my Highest Good by opening to new possibilities.”

We are in a time of major changes, shifts and revisions. Whatever is out of alignment will make itself known as a whisper and then escalate to a roar until it gets your attention!

As we approach 2012, we’re getting a major push to deliver our being to a higher level of consciousness, so expect everything that’s out of order to come up to be seen and healed.

Do not give up on yourself and your dreams! Get the support you need to move forward because you didn’t come this far to stop in mid-process. You are a Lightworker here to usher in Love and Light and purifying your own energy is part of your job.

I’ve just returned from my Platinum Mastermind group in Asheville, NC.

It was a poignant conclusion to a transformative year, not only for me, but for all of my sisters in spirit!

I look back at where I was one year ago and marvel at my growth, both internally and externally.

As you know, your external life is just an outpicturing of what’s happening within you.

And how did this growth happen? By allowing others “in” to offer me new ways of operating and by taking baby steps – one new step at a time.

If you aren’t happy with where you are – or if you feel like your life is out of alignment with your authentic self, then I urge you to take some kind of action to course correct now.

I have been working at healing for a very long time – and believe me, I had a lot to heal! And I continue to evolve by pursuing my next steps all the time, personally and professionally.

Which leads me to an important question when it comes to personal growth and transformation – are you teachable?

• Are you open to considering/trying new ways of doing things?

• Do you do everything yourself – without outside help? (If so, why?)

• Do you often feel misunderstood or different, feeling like nobody “gets” you?

• Do you trust yourself to recognize the right and perfect teachers/methodologies/modalities for you?

These are just a few inquiries that you can make to see if you’re truly open to allowing help, new information and guidance in.

You cannot stay in your comfort zone and transform your life. All growth requires some emotional risk – and as I frequently remind you, you are SO worth it!

I always feel endings – and I allow myself to fully experience the melancholy I feel when letting go of “what is” in order to open to what’s next. I have such deep love and gratitude for the inspiration and safety I feel with these women who have supported and enabled my growth in 2011, along with coach extraordinaire, Christine Kane. It is profound what a container of love, encouragement and belonging can incubate, combined with good orderly direction.

Speaking of loss, I feel deep sadness at the passing of Steve Jobs for various reasons. For one, I wonder what creations he could have manifested in the future that died with him. Steve Jobs We have so few successful creators who model a high level of being and who will not bend to social pressure. I so appreciate his conviction, his courage, his genius – and his commitment to his vision that others didn’t always see.

Steve Jobs and I were born on the same day – at different times, so we have different astrological charts and very different lives, but we also have much in common. That’s another reason I feel sad about his passing; I feel a deep understanding of his life setup on a soul level.

I have had my share of loss in life and because healing is my business – and because I have Steve Jobs’ chart – I can’t help but wonder if he could have avoided or healed his pancreatic cancer by healing the issue(s) that created it. I think there’s a possibility that he didn’t have to die. I can’t help it – this is my belief. I don’t mean to sound arrogant like I know better, but it’s my intuitive feeling that he didn’t have to go now – or maybe it’s my little girl wish – that I didn’t want him to go.

For those of you who are still here, please be willing to heal the issues that create discomfort and pain in your life. You are so worth it and you can shift your life experience now. I know, I’ve done it – and I keep going in my process. Please make good use of all the wonder that surrounds you!

This New Moon is in the “other”-oriented sign of Libra. The New Moon is about new beginnings – time to take actions toward what you want to create in your life.

Libra is ruled by Venus, planet of love, beauty, and harmony, and the focus is on relationships, your physical presentation, your aesthetic surroundings, balance, money, giving and receiving, creativity, and love, love, love.

Here are some questions for you to ask yourself regarding Libra/Venus issues:

• Are you comfortable with your relationship dynamics, whether friendship, romantic, or professional?

• Is your giving and receiving in balance, whether it’s love, money, or whatever else you value?

• Regarding your beliefs around money and how you seek to fulfill your desires, are you operating from a place of possibility and moving toward a dream – or from a place of fear, a belief in lack, or acceptance of the status quo?

• Does your body, mind and Spirit need some pampering or just a rest? We are very busy people these days and you often don’t realize just how tired you are.

• Does your outward style reflect your authentic Self or is it time to update your look?

• Is it time to redecorate and spruce up your home or workplace? (Flowers or throw pillows will work)

• Do you honor your Self as the lovable, special gift that you are?  If not, what beliefs are blocking you from knowing that you are the Essence of Pure Goodness?

These Venus issues merit reflection and this is a golden opportunity to commit to whatever needs attention in your life. Value yourself – you are so worth it!

As I frequently remind you, you are the lightworkers who are here to help others awaken to their authentic being and true potential, so the more in alignment you are, the better you are able to support others.

This Equinox and the New Moon in Libra both activate the ongoing Cardinal Cross that  requires you to take responsibility for ALL of your creations – internally and externally – and to claim your Self as the empowered being that you came here to be!

This means that you will really feel anything that’s out of alignment in your consciousness and in your life. If something is causing you discomfort, it’s your job to explore what is creating it and to discern what needs to change.

Areas to examine – attitudes toward the future, self-care, self-expression, relationship dynamics, attitudes toward authority and the way you show up in the world.

Yes, they’re all major – and we’re in Libra – time to create balance within yourself and in your life.

Pluto opposite Sun

Pluto, planet of power, control and transformation opposes the Sun this week. This can manifest as power struggles or feeling like you’re being manipulated or pressured into doing something you really don’t want to do.

You’ll know it if this comes up for you because it triggers issues around power and powerlessness. You will either be on a mission to get your way (and will go to any lengths to get it!) or you may feel like someone’s leaning on you – or you’re in a standoff.

So here’s the question: who is playing the part of Pluto in your life? Is it you – or are you on the receiving end of someone else’s agenda? Think about it…

In order to be empowered (in YOUR power), you need to recognize that this setup has been created by you – and if it’s causing you pain, it’s showing you an old pattern that needs to be healed!

Next, think about who Pluto was in your childhood, as that relationship is the root of what’s being acted out now (whether it’s conscious or unconscious on your part).

I support you in releasing old, unconscious patterns that interfere with your peace, prosperity and happiness, so stay positive and understand that you are not here to be limited!

Go where it’s warm and loving – and use this opportunity to seek support so that you can finally move through old, outdated energies that no longer serve you.

You deserve to feel safe and joyful!

Solar Eclipse – July 1st

As we approach the third and final Solar Eclipse of this trio of Eclipses, we will be in the dark of the Moon this week.

Know that something new is coming, to be birthed during or after the next Solar Eclipse, and this is a good time to focus on cleaning up endings in order to create space for the new.

Humanity is in the midst of a sacred upheaval of old energies and outdated habits, patterns and beliefs that are no longer relevant for our lives today. There is much turmoil, as we  approach 2012 – and we are in major “preparation” mode.

As I suggested earlier, be loving and be lovable (let people love you!).

It will only make your life better by refocusing the lens through which you experience the world – and it will raise your vibration and broadcast that beautiful energy out to all who come in contact with you.

I’m so grateful that we’re on this journey together and I promise to do my part – our connection is no accident!

How are you feeling, post-Eclipse? The Moon rules your feelings and needs – and touches your most primal emotions. This is the menu for this week!

The Lunar Eclipse was on the North Node of Destiny and the Galactic Core of the Milky Way, channeling major  energies to support your further awakening.

Sagittarius rules beliefs. You may have had surprising or enlightening realizations as new information came to light (a Full Moon phenomenon).

Maybe something that you’ve always considered to be ‘”true” has turned out not to be exactly as you thought it was (or vice versa). Even a slight shift in perspective can make a BIG difference in your experience of life!

Have any of your beliefs shifted during this Lunar Eclipse – and, if so, how can this benefit you?

Judgment and wisdom are both Sagittarius-ruled, so think about what you’ve learned recently that can enhance your journey and support your being in the world.

If you find that “stuff” is coming up – especially stuff you thought you had already dealt with – know that it has come up to be seen, acknowledged and healed.

Summer Solstice/Sun in Cancer
June 21st, ’11

The Summer Solstice occurs as the Sun enters the sensitive, emotional sign of Cancer on Tues, June 21st – the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer.

This is yet another energetic shift to add to the mix – and Cancer is ruled by the ever-fluctuating Moon.

Lots of feelings and focus on home, family, food, nurturing, care, and issues regarding emotional safety and security are prominent. Feelings can color your thoughts and judgment, so take that into consideration when making decisions and get clear before acting.

If you are feeling more sensitive than usual, take extra good care of yourself by creating space, slowing down, and doing what you can to avoid stress.

You can help to manage your feelings by asking yourself, “What do I need right now?” and then creating healthy ways to fulfill your needs.

Connection, mothering (giving or receiving), and emotional warmth are all expressions of Cancer. Where do you feel emotionally connected – and to whom? Find those people (or puppies, or nature) when you need comfort and TLC and hook into the stream of love and goodness!

All is in Divine order. All is well. And you are important!

We also continue in the energy of Chiron (Wounded Healer/ Master Teacher), as it turns to go retrograde, providing you with the opportunity to release the trauma and dis-identify with your wounds in order to heal on a deep, deep level.Yes, it’s time to move on and release those old, non-working patterns. Your wounds (and the behaviors that arise from them) are NOT who you are! Please seek the support you need to heal that which you can’t let go of on your own.

Again, who would you be without your story – what “they” did to you or what went wrong? When you are able to separate from your false beliefs you will have achieved true liberation!

Saturn Direct – June 12th, ’11

Saturn turns to go Direct on Sunday, allowing projects that may have been stalled or revised to move forward with new upgraded structures.

Relationships (the mirror) call for greater understanding in order to create balance, connection and compromise.

Know that you call in your personal “messengers” via all the relationships  you attract into your life, so receive the info being offered! Allow everything to be useful.

This is an invitation to tap into your evolved inner authority and recommit to yourself and path on a whole, new level

Lunar Eclispe – June 15th, ’11

The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on Wed, June 15th asks you to release old beliefs and broaden your horizons and perspective so that you can evolve to an even higher vibration.

A Lunar Eclipse is about endings or the culmination of things, and this one sits on the North Node of Destiny.

This indicates that what you release will allow you to rise to a  higher level of consciousness and being by creating space for new ideas, beliefs and experiences to come in.

I heard an old-timer once say, “The older I get, the less I know.”  He meant that with along with age, came wisdom (another Sagittarius theme) – and part of his path was not being so rigid in his beliefs. Sage advice…

Remember, a Lunar Eclipse is a Full Moon, which is emotionally loaded all by itself – and to have an Eclipse on top of it ups the ante exponentially! Please, please, easy does it next week in particular.

Stay conscious, give yourself extra time to accomplish your tasks, stay hydrated if you’re in the heat and get lots of rest and quiet time.

If you’re an “orchid,”  you need special care so take particularly good care of yourself this week as the literal and emotional thermostat rises.

Changes will happen so be prepared to be proactive and flexible.  You can feel empowered and clear  – even if you’re in the hallway.
