We’ve just been through a Lunar Eclipse, with Uranus (the new/unexpected) and Mercury (info/communication) both going Direct. These are all huge energies and everyone I know has been feeling the undercurrents.

You can expect new information to continue to filter in post-Mercury Retrograde that may change your view of the current landscape. Take all the incoming information in and then go within to connect with your inner guidance.

Words of wisdom: Your Higher Self (intuition) is always the most reliable guide for you on your path.  If you’re not clear, either wait to make decisions or get help from a trusted advisor to clear any blockages that may be present.

You have a relatively small window of opportunity (Dec 14 to Jan 22), to initiate or pursue new projects, pursuits and activities before Mars (action/will/the body) goes Retrograde from Jan 23 – April 14. (That’s a long Retrograde!)

You’ll be reviewing, revising and making corrections where you’re out of alignment via your work, the way you operate in the world (your will), your physical body, and more.

So what should you do? The guidance is to initiate “the new” between now and Jan 22nd.

Right now is the time to plan for the first quarter of 2012 – deciding how you will take care of yourself, what you will participate in, where you will go and who you will do it with. All is in Divine Order, so just say “yes” to what is.

Don’t judge things as good or bad because you don’t know the big picture. More will be revealed…

Sun in Capricorn – Dec 22, ’11

The Sun moves into serious, grounded, committed Capricorn late Tues PT/early Wed ET and you will feel the energy shift when it does. This is another wake-up call – we could call Capricorn the “Reality Check” sign, which asks you to step up and take responsibility for ALL your creations.

Look at your life to see what’s working, what’s not working, and where you want to go. Planning, organization and boundaries are all within Capricorn’s domain so really take inventory of your life over the holidays.

At this moment you have yet another opportunity to step into your authority and your mastery in the world, as well as the invitation to fully claim your inner authority.

Trust yourself – listen to your inner guidance system and allow it to be your intuitive tracking device; it will never steer you wrong!

We’re in a Venus (love, desire)/Pluto (power, transformation) conjunction, which can mean a variety of things, but the lower expressions usually express as drama.

You may find yourself in a triangular relationship (three people), whether it’s love, family or business – but there are huge issues around possessiveness and control in the mix.

Here’s a healing for triangles: never speak about one who isn’t present. Deal only with the one you are speaking to and take responsibility for your words and actions with that person. You will never feel good about yourself after saying negative things about another. Really.

Venus-Pluto may find you clinging (with claw marks!) to an old attachment that you fear losing. The attachment is the issue and if you’re not able to let go yet, set your intention to be willing to let go. Be gentle with yourself, because some part of you believes that you need this attachment to be okay.

Venus-Pluto aspects create darkness in the lower expressions but offer you the potential to totally transform that stuck energy by moving from selfish desires (ego) into your Higher Self. From this place you can let go and reconnect with a peaceful, open heart.

I urge you to operate from your Higher Self if you find this within your space. Be loving, be compassionate and remember that everyone is doing the best they can (including you!).

We’re also in a Sun (ego) – Mars (aggression) square so you may really, really want it your way! Between Venus-Pluto, Sun square Mars, The Eclipses and Mercury Retrograde slowing things down, this is potentially tense and combustible energy! Move slowly and consciously – and take really good care of yourself this week. Seek inspiration and comfort. Connect heart to heart – that is the true antidote for drama. ♥

Eclipse Energy

We end the week approaching a Lunar Eclipse in Gemini on Sat, Dec 10th, which is about endings and the culmination of things. Just a few reminders…

• Emotions run high around eclipses – expect the unexpected as well as fated events, and be willing to be flexible.
• Eclipses can either clear huge obstacles or manifest potential challenges and things usually happen quickly.
• If you’re confronted with an unexpected situation or event, take a moment to assess where you are and let the dust settle, if possible.
• There’s a saying, “Don’t just do something, sit there!” Use that guidance when anxiety triggers you to act prematurely or reactively, which doesn’t serve your highest good.
• Please don’t judge events that happen around an Eclipse as “good” or “bad” because you don’t know what the big picture is and remember that more will be revealed. Changes will happen so be prepared to be proactive and flexible.
• You can feel empowered and clear, even if you’re in the hallway.

Mercury Retrograde Nov 24 – Dec 13, ’11

This may affect holiday travel, so be sure to leave plenty of extra time and space to get where you’re going this Thanksgiving.

Mercury Retrograde during Black Friday and Cyber Monday means that purchasing mistakes and missteps will probably be greater than usual and making large purchases during this time is ill advised. If you have to get that new iPad or other major purchase (especially electronic), wait until Dec 16th if possible. You will thank yourself for being patient and save your receipts for whatever you buy!

I recommend communicating via email so you can double check directions, agreements and plans in writing. Miscommunications are rampant during Mercury Retrograde and email is so handy for verification – whether you have an unexpected brain freeze or a dispute about who said what when.

New Moon in Scorpio – Oct 26, ’11

The New Moon is the time for new beginnings, so start something – whether you pursue a dream, goal, idea, plan or project.

Set your intention and then put attention on what you want to grow or create and ride the wave as you allow the Lunar energy to support you. Utilize the energy of regeneration to create a breakthrough!

The New Moon is in the deep, passionate sign of Scorpio which rules issues around power, control and transformation – what to release and what to keep in your life.

Scorpio rules metamorphosis by deconstructing what’s no longer viable and then the rebirth creates a “cosmic upgrade.” The ultimate result is transcendence over old, stale non-working patterns, structures and relationships.

Emotions are intensified and your desires are strong, so check your motives before you act: are you in integrity seeking to contribute to the greater good – or are you operating from ego-driven, fear-based or selfish desires?

Watch for obsessive thinking, which can blind you to the big picture. Examine your current choices and make decisions with consciousness from your Higher Self. This is real empowerment.

What can you release in order to create emotional balance so you step into your power?

Projection is a Scorpio domain, ruled by the unconscious. Know that behaviors that bother you in others are for you to explore within yourself.

Please don’t miss the opportunity to evolve, awaken and integrate unconscious beliefs that block your heart, often created by living in judgment of others, no matter how it’s disguised (caring, analysis, etc.).

Remember, those who are in their power have no need to dominate or control – they feel safe and secure knowing that they are operating in integrity, aligned with the greater good.

Creating New Moon Intentions

New Moon Intentions are a concrete way of stating what you want in your life. Because Spirit is within you and flows through you, this is the place from which you create.

Creativity is a “Divine download” and creative expression is your unique expression of channeling Spirit. You have the power to manifest your desires and you call in what you focus on, so choose your thoughts wisely!

Some intentions take time to manifest and others will show up quickly. Enjoy!

Creating Intentions

• Create your list on the day of the New Moon if possible

• Review your previous list and delete anything received

• Eliminate items that are no longer relevant

• Place your list on your altar or in a private place

• Review your list each morning or evening to keep your intentions conscious

How To Create Intentions

• List no more than ten intentions, so you don’t dilute the energy

• Start each intention with the words “I” or “I create”

• Make intentions present tense (not “I will” as in the future)

• Only write what you intend to create (you can’t create for someone else)

New Moon Abundance Check

• On the day of the New Moon write a check to yourself

• Write your name in the section labeled “Pay to order of”

• Write “Paid in Full” in the $$ section

• Write “What I allow myself to receive” in the word amount section

• Sign the check with the words “Spiritual Law”

Place the check on your altar or put it in a special place and prepare to receive!

This bundle of energy inspires a need for balance, peace, harmony, communication and commitment in relationships.

How do you feel about commitment? Is it comforting, giving you a sense of security or do you feel trapped by it? This is a wonderful time to examine your beliefs and feelings about  relationships, as Venus and Saturn (love and commitment) sit together.

Libra is the  mirror -  what you encounter in others is a message for you. Your job is to interpret the information that you receive through these interactions and take personal responsibility for what you create.

If you experience loving, supportive, harmonious exchanges while operating from your authentic Self, you are in flow. If you find yourself feeling uncomfortable or acting in ways that aren’t working for you, it’s a sign that you need a course correction.

If you don’t know what changes you need to make – or how to go about making them, I urge you to seek help from a trusted adviser. It can be challenging to see beyond your blind spots and we ALL need support when adjusting our usual way of being, or when evolving.

Uranus (change) continues to square Pluto (transformation), so there is the potential for ongoing discomfort where you’re out of alignment or where you’re being encouraged to release what’s complete, not working, or outdated.

This is a time of taking personal responsibility for all your creations – and relationships highlight your behavior patterns so you can learn and grow from them.

Pluto opposite Sun

Pluto, planet of power, control and transformation opposes the Sun this week. This can manifest as power struggles or feeling like you’re being manipulated or pressured into doing something you really don’t want to do.

You’ll know it if this comes up for you because it triggers issues around power and powerlessness. You will either be on a mission to get your way (and will go to any lengths to get it!) or you may feel like someone’s leaning on you – or you’re in a standoff.

So here’s the question: who is playing the part of Pluto in your life? Is it you – or are you on the receiving end of someone else’s agenda? Think about it…

In order to be empowered (in YOUR power), you need to recognize that this setup has been created by you – and if it’s causing you pain, it’s showing you an old pattern that needs to be healed!

Next, think about who Pluto was in your childhood, as that relationship is the root of what’s being acted out now (whether it’s conscious or unconscious on your part).

I support you in releasing old, unconscious patterns that interfere with your peace, prosperity and happiness, so stay positive and understand that you are not here to be limited!

Go where it’s warm and loving – and use this opportunity to seek support so that you can finally move through old, outdated energies that no longer serve you.

Solar Eclipse – July 1st

As we approach the third and final Solar Eclipse of this trio of Eclipses, we will be in the dark of the Moon this week.

Know that something new is coming, to be birthed during or after the next Solar Eclipse, and this is a good time to focus on cleaning up endings in order to create space for the new.

Humanity is in the midst of a sacred upheaval of old energies and outdated habits, patterns and beliefs that are no longer relevant for our lives today. There is much turmoil, as we  approach 2012 – and we are in major “preparation” mode.

As I suggested earlier, be loving and be lovable (let people love you!).

It will only make your life better by refocusing the lens through which you experience the world – and it will raise your vibration and broadcast that beautiful energy out to all who come in contact with you.

I’m so grateful that we’re on this journey together and I promise to do my part – our connection is no accident!

How are you feeling, post-Eclipse? The Moon rules your feelings and needs – and touches your most primal emotions. This is the menu for this week!

The Lunar Eclipse was on the North Node of Destiny and the Galactic Core of the Milky Way, channeling major  energies to support your further awakening.

Sagittarius rules beliefs. You may have had surprising or enlightening realizations as new information came to light (a Full Moon phenomenon).

Maybe something that you’ve always considered to be ‘”true” has turned out not to be exactly as you thought it was (or vice versa). Even a slight shift in perspective can make a BIG difference in your experience of life!

Summer Solstice/Sun in Cancer
June 21st, ’11

The Summer Solstice occurs as the Sun enters the sensitive, emotional sign of Cancer on Tues, June 21st – the longest day of the year and the official beginning of summer.

This is yet another energetic shift to add to the mix – and Cancer is ruled by the ever-fluctuating Moon.

Lots of feelings and focus on home, family, food, nurturing, care, and issues regarding emotional safety and security are prominent. Feelings can color your thoughts and judgment, so take that into consideration when making decisions and get clear before acting.

If you are feeling more sensitive than usual, take extra good care of yourself by creating space, slowing down, and doing what you can to avoid stress.

You can help to manage your feelings by asking yourself, “What do I need right now?” and then creating healthy ways to fulfill your needs.

Connection, mothering (giving or receiving), and emotional warmth are all expressions of Cancer. Where do you feel emotionally connected – and to whom? Find those people (or puppies, or nature) when you need comfort and TLC and hook into the stream of love and goodness!

We also continue in the energy of Chiron (Wounded Healer/ Master Teacher), as it turns to go retrograde, providing you with the opportunity to release the trauma and dis-identify with your wounds in order to heal on a deep, deep level.Yes, it’s time to move on and release those old, non-working patterns. Your wounds (and the behaviors that arise from them) are NOT who you are! Please seek the support you need to heal that which you can’t let go of on your own.

Again, who would you be without your story – what “they” did to you or what went wrong? When you are able to separate from your false beliefs you will have achieved true liberation!

Saturn Direct – June 12th, ’11

Saturn turns to go Direct on Sunday, allowing projects that may have been stalled or revised to move forward with new upgraded structures.

Relationships (the mirror) call for greater understanding in order to create balance, connection and compromise.

Know that you call in your personal “messengers” via all the relationships  you attract into your life, so receive the info being offered! Allow everything to be useful.

This is an invitation to tap into your evolved inner authority and recommit to yourself and path on a whole, new level

Lunar Eclispe – June 15th, ’11

The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on Wed, June 15th asks you to release old beliefs and broaden your horizons and perspective so that you can evolve to an even higher vibration.

A Lunar Eclipse is about endings or the culmination of things, and this one sits on the North Node of Destiny.

This indicates that what you release will allow you to rise to a  higher level of consciousness and being by creating space for new ideas, beliefs and experiences to come in.

I heard an old-timer once say, “The older I get, the less I know.”  He meant that with along with age, came wisdom (another Sagittarius theme) – and part of his path was not being so rigid in his beliefs. Sage advice…

Remember, a Lunar Eclipse is a Full Moon, which is emotionally loaded all by itself – and to have an Eclipse on top of it ups the ante exponentially! Please, please, easy does it next week in particular.

Stay conscious, give yourself extra time to accomplish your tasks, stay hydrated if you’re in the heat and get lots of rest and quiet time.

If you’re an “orchid,”  you need special care so take particularly good care of yourself this week as the literal and emotional thermostat rises.

We have a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in the friendly, curious, highly active sign of Gemini on Wed, June 1st – talk about starting the month off with bang!

The New Moon is always the time for new beginnings so be prepared to take  action directed toward what you want to create more of in your life. A Solar Eclipse is like a New Moon on steroids so take advantage of this energy!

* Eclipses have a “Uranian” quality – expect sudden changes, unpredictable events, moments of fate and fated events

* Eclipses indicate “unnatural acts” (check the news) – and you may feel unnatural around an Eclipse

* Things may seem out of proportion during an Eclipse

* The story that opened up during the last set of eclipses is in effect until the next one (the last set was in late Dec ’10/early Jan ’11 – what was going on for you then?)

* Themes and issues will be revisited – what has been suppressed or denied in your life for the last six months?  Time to address it!

Current Events – April 29th

Although this week we enter the month of May and the New Moon in Taurus late Mon night, we still have a LOT of planets in Aries. This gives us an abundance of fiery, impulsive, red-hot energy flying around, ready to jump into action.

At the same time, it’s opposed by Saturn, the Great Teacher (or strict parent), who requires that you be accountable for the words, actions and structures you create. Thankfully, Saturn is grounding all that Aries fire, so I see the opposition as a good thing.

Think of it as a “reality check,” or being forced to think things through before you take a leap or suffer the consequences if you don’t! Know that when something appears to go/be “wrong,” it’s a message that something is out of alignment and a course correction is needed. Remember you can always “undo/redo” and then do the next right thing.

Moral of the story: The more conscious you are, the less drama there is!

New Moon in Taurus

Late Monday night, early Tuesday morning we have a New Moon in the earthy, sensual, fertile sign of Taurus.

The New Moon is the time for new beginnings – the natural time to begin cycles, as you are supported by the energy that rules the tides of the oceans.

The New Moon is when you would normally take action, but on this New Moon, we go right into a long Moon Void of Course, so you need to wait to take action if you want a successful outcome to occur.

The Moon Void of Course is really affecting how we move these days for those who want to be in alignment with the rhythm of the Universe. I’m so “in it” – and the enforced time to go within and do spiritual, creative and routine activities has been supportive and productive, I must say.

Taurus is the sign that rules values – what you value and how you value yourself, so check in and see if you’re treating yourself as the valued, precious being that you are. Do you honor yourself – does the way you treat yourself indicate that? I hope so. Venus, ruler of Taurus, rules your consciousness around money, prosperity and abundance.

If you find yourself overspending, trying to fill a void by acquiring more, living with a belief in lack or fear regarding money, this is the time to take action to rectify whatever is out of balance in your life relating to money.

Are you a good receiver? Can you accept compliments joyfully without deflecting or complimenting the other person back? Do you ask for help? Are you uncomfortable if someone makes a fuss over you, so you stop them? If the answer is “yes” to any of these questions, then receiving is a spiritual practice for you. Watch yourself and notice if you push things away – materially or energetically – by your discomfort with receiving. If so, practice allowing gifts in, whether they’re compliments, gifts, assistance or small gestures. You can’t receive money or love if you can’t receive! Let people love you by receiving!

Taurus loves physical comfort, good food, it honors the body, sensuality and the earth, so you may want to indulge yourself with a massage, have a fabulous meal, lounge around in bed in the morning (on the good sheets!), take a luxurious bath, get fresh flowers, walk barefoot in the grass or on the beach, or just slow down and relax – this earthy sign is very patient and doesn’t like to rush for any reason.

Take conscious actions and to honor the Taurus New Moon, really practice receiving and feeling pleasure so you can live in balance (yin and yang) and to be in the flow. You are worth it!
